A New orleans sidecar is an elegant and dry party drink.

How to make a New Orleans Sidecar

Ingredients
- 3/4oz Brandy or Cognac
- 3/4oz Light rum
- 3/4oz Lemon juice
- 2tsp. Triple sec
- 1 dash Pastis
- 1 dash Grenadine

Procedure
Shake all the ingredients together firmly, with ice cubes, in a cocktail shaker and strain into a cocktail glass.

Notes
It is imperative you by no means use artificial lemon in this cocktail, that is unless you like the taste of rotten monkey brains.
